O Allah, all praise belongs to You. None can contract what You expand or expand what You contract; guide whom You leave astray or mislead whom You guide; give what You withhold or withhold what You give; bring near what You make distant or make distant what You bring near. Spread Your blessings, mercy, favor, and provision upon us. I ask for enduring delight, comfort in hardship, and safety in fear. I seek refuge from the evil of what You gave us and what You withheld. Make faith beloved to us and beautiful in our hearts; make disbelief, defiance, and disobedience hateful to us, and make us rightly guided. Let us live and die as Muslims and join the righteous without disgrace or trial. O Allah, oppose the disbelievers who deny Your messengers and obstruct Your path, and bring Your punishment upon them.
